1. drafting enforceable legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities to independent living to promote, protect and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights by people with all types of disabilities and to promote respect for their inherent dignity;
  2. exploring inclusive education and identifying the factors that prevent girls with disabilities from participating and learning in schools on an equal basis with their non-disabled peers;
  3. reforming existing legislation to challenge plenary and partial guardianship laws which disproportionately affect people perceived to have intellectual disabilities;
  4. developing laws prohibiting involuntary sterilization as involuntary sterilization of women with disabilities is contrary to international human rights standards.
